Danish patterns here I come!

I fell in love with this hat as soon as I saw it and knew exactly that I'll make it for my little son. It was a bit of disappointment to see that the pattern was in Danish (!), but I decided that I have to translate it somehow. I know there's a group on Ravelry where you can ask for help with translating things, but I thought it might be more fun to try to do it on my own. With Google Translate and this dictionary it took me less than I thought. I admit that I crossed out one part that didn't seem to fit there, but the outcome is very similar to the original and that's the most important I guess. The pattern itself is very, very pleasant to work with - I hate wordy instructions - and really easy, so I might be making more of those in the future.

It is also very comforting to have another thing off the Year of Projects list!

P.S. I saw some of you thought I'm going to make this hat for myself. Maybe I should do that?;)

  2. Lovely hat, what a nice pattern, and I like the yarn colours too, it looks very soft and warm.

  9. Very cute! You should message the designer on Ravelry and see if they will let you post up the English translation, so other people can make it!
