This is a pattern for a little
bunny. He’s 2.5” tall (with ears), so he’ll nicely stick out from your Easter
basket or any other spring decoration. Oh, and there’s also his pal, a bunny
finger puppet. Of course, they’ll be happy to keep you company, not only during
Easter. I hope you’ll enjoy making both!
Just be careful, they’re both
quite sneaky… and a bit crazy.
Materials:
- yarn: 100% acrylic, sport yarn
gray and white
- hook: 3mm
- 2 small black beads for eyes
- black & pink embroidery floss or thread
- sewing needle
- scissors
- stuffing (if you’re making an ami)
Ear (make 2):
with gray
ch6
1. working on both sides of the chain: 1 sl st in the second ch from
the hook, 2sc, 1hdc, 5hdc in 1, 1 hdc, 2sc, 1 sl st
Fasten off leaving a long piece of thread for sewing.
Head and body:
Amigurumi
version

1. 2sc in the 2nd ch
from the hook, 3sc in next ch, 1sc on the other side of the first ch, join to
the first sc (6)

Fasten off. Leave the long piece of thread for sewing. Attach the ears and
eyes and embroider the bunny’s face. Sew
the opening closed after attaching the tail.
Finger Puppet

from the hook, 3sc in next ch, 1sc on the other side of the first ch, join to
the first sc (6)

You may want to sew the ears
and face somewhere around round 10, so that you have a better access, but you
can as well do it at the very end.

Fasten off.
Tail:
with white

hook (6)

3. dec x4, leave 1 unworked (4)
Fasten off leaving a long piece of thread for sewing. Sew the tail at
the back of the body.
