let's share the love

I've never been a fan of the Valentine's Day, I don't celebrate it in any special way or send cards. But I thought it would be a good day to show our special affection for crochet. Or knitting :) So, if you want to join, post a short note on my Facebook page, telling why you like to knit or crochet. And those who answer in the most interesting way - be sure to get your prize!
I'd hate to limit the love sharing mood, so I'm giving you the whole week to come up with something! I'll choose the lucky winner on the 22nd of February.
And to make sure you spread the love even further, post an info about this giveaway on your blog/FB/Twitter or however you want and you'll get a 10% discount for my next pattern! Just remember to e-mail me and I'll send you the code:)
So, what are you waiting for? Let's spread some love!

  1. I love to knit beacuse it soothes me in troubled times. I recently have had my Mom and my Husband of 33 years pass away. So I've been really sad and knitting really helps. thanks for the giveaway. Hope your Vlaentines Day was good. Debbie gussek on Ravelry

  2. knitting and crochet are my yoga. Through losing my husband to cancer, and day-to-day coping on my own with my adult autistic son, two major surgeries in recent years and just life in general, knitting and the friendships made though blogging and Ravelry are a huge part of what sustains me.

  3. I love to crochet because it takes me to a whole different world of serenity and accomplishment when the item is finished. The feeling of giving the item away is the most satisfying experience. To see their eyes light up or even get a hug from someone you have never met, but they are so excited as they have waited years to receive something so unique and just for them. To be able to spend very little and have something that you made with your own two hands.
