Wondering if I'm still working on my Year of Projects crochet and knitting? Well, I've been hibernating some of my projects to work on my submissions (details about the last one soon), but I'm back on track!
I've finished the gloves from
this set, but decided not to make a hat, as Maciek got a beautiful knitted hat from my mom and he's got also the one I've knitted for him (and some others...) so I guess one more won't be necessary. I decided not to make a thumb, as he won't need it.

Not perfect, but definitely warm! |
My next project was supposed to be the Maui shrug, but I've come across
this beauty - Ribbed Lace Bolero and just couldn't resist! I casted it on on Sunday and I hope to be done soon. It's really a great pattern. Easy and quick, but not too boring.

I'm using Nako Super Inci yarn - wool+acrylic. It's wonderful! |

Hope to find some time to visit other YoP blogs soon!
The mittens are so cute!

ReplyDeleteThese are both great. I want to make the ribbed bolero shrug also one of these days.
ReplyDeleteThose mittens are so cute! Love the little paws
ReplyDeleteWhat adorable little mittens! Just perfect to keep little hands warm!
ReplyDeleteNever could keep those mittens without thumbs on my DD when she was young, though always thought them easier to get on the kids. Guess, if they go on easier...they also come off easier........groan.
