Cat bookmark free pattern
Ok, so here's the pattern I promised :)
Hook: 1,75mm
Yarn: 520m in 100g
100% acrylic, fingering
Cat bookmark:
ch - chain
dc - double crochet
sc - single crochet
sl st - slip stitch
inc - 2 dc in one
dec - 2 dc worked together
(x) - number of stitches in a row
It's made in joined rounds. Finish each round with a join and start from ch2, counted as the first dc.
Body and head:
1. ch 3, 12 dc in the 3rd ch from the hook (12dc)
2. inc x6 around (24dc)
3. (inc x2, 1 dc) around (40dc)
4. (we start the head here) ch 2, inc x2, 1 dc, inc x2 (10dc), ch 2, turn
5. 1 dc, (dec, 1dc) x 3 (7dc), ch 2, turn
6. 1 dc, ch 2, sl st in the next dc from the previous row (one ear made), 3sc, sl st, ch2, 1 dc, ch 2, st st in the next dc from the previous row (the second ear made)
secure the thread and finish off
Tail:
Join the thread in the place where you want to have the tail (I started at 9 stitches from the head, on the right side)
1. ch 33 (or more/fewer - depending on the desired length), dc in the 4th ch from the hook, 5 dc, 3dc in the next dc, 1 dc in each of the next 22ch, join with the body with a sl st.
You're done! :)
P.S. If you happen to find any mistakes in the pattern, feel free to let me know!
And the Italian version, available thanks to Lia! Check out her webstie for more Italian patterns!
Uncinetto: 1,75 mm
Filato: 520m/100g 100% acrylic (NdL: o quello che preferite/avete, naturalmente)
Abbreviazioni:
CAT - catenella
ALT – punto alto
BS – punto basso
BSS – punto bassissimo
AUM – aumento (2 punti lavorati nello stesso punto)
DIM – diminuzione (2 punti lavorati insieme)
4. (qui inizia la testa) 2 CAT, AUM, AUM, 1 ALT, AUM, AUM (10 ALT), 2 CAT, voltare
5. 1 ALT, (DIM, 1 ALT) x 3 (7 ALT), 2 CAT, voltare

ReplyDeleteWhat size hook?
ReplyDeleteSo easy and so cute! I'm thinking if you made this with crochet thread and a smaller steel hook, it would make a really cute applique to add to a baby sweater or blanket. Since I crochet for needy babies, I may have to give that a try. Thanks for posting your pattern :)
